Astrum Nanji

Astrum is the founder and Chief Executive Officer at Lux Equity, a privately held fund that owns various alternative assets in North America.

Prior to founding Lux Equity, Astrum was a Television Producer and Director at CBC Newsworld. He later ran the news division at MUCHMusic. Astrum began his television career at the Emmy award-winning series Street Cents. During his time there, Street Cents also captured the Gemini Award for Best Children’s Series.

Astrum has a B. Com., summa cum laude, from McGill University, a B.A. Honors from Ryerson University in Radio and Television and a J.D. from Osgoode Hall Law School. He is currently pursuing his MBA at the Wharton School.
